Different things
There is a prerequisite these days for a fellow to specialise and just do the one thing. You become known for this one thing and if you’re lucky, work hard and wear the right socks success can follow.
That’s how it goes, that’s how you were taught, work hard, learn how to do something well, and the world is your oyster. But the creative mind does not easily succumb to these platitudes. You want to explore, try new things.
But change is not always welcome. Things can get ugly if you start doing different things.
