Babbling Fools

Back among the Babbling Fools,
sorting through yards of digital footage.

The Man on the Street: “That’ll be virtual yards, then?”
Myself: “Sorry?”
The Man on the Street: “Virtual – if it’s digital, it doesn’t exist, surely?”
Myself: “It was recorded on tape, digitally, so it has a palpable presence.”
The Man on the Street: “Fair enough.”

Anyway, here’s a trailer:

Oooh nice. Fabulous, fabulous location; your actor has a fascinating face; I love the dusty, bleached look, even through the compression.

It feels a little cutty at the top to me - the first single of the painted woman feels like a cutaway rather than a shot. But that could be YouTube dropping the frame rate and hence subtly moving your edits... or me watching stuff I cut months back, and being over-sensitive to something I consistently misjudge myself.

Looking forward to seeing the finished piece.

yes, it's cuts about too much at the top, I've since paced it better, mind you I didn't cut this as a trailer, so it works better in sequence.
