Least We Forget

THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGIONEvery year, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, time stops for a moment, to remember the sacrifice of those who lost their life's defending the freedom's we seem to accept without a second thought. Most years it drifts by, and unless I've been around a TV or radio, watching/listening to the Remembrance services, 11am just ticks by.

Today, our company made an effort to ensure we did remember. And, at 11am, silence descended on the open plan office.

Strange what just a few minutes of peace and quiet makes you think.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
